Verona is a city of Roman foundation and setting, full of beautifully preserved and usable monuments such as the Arena, the Roman Theater, the Ponte Pietra, Porta Borsari, Porta Leoni and the Arco dei Gavi.
But there is also an underground city, which speaks to us more deeply about domestic life and public spaces, about production processes and trade, about power, religion and slavery.
